PROFILE

My passion for Landscape Photography developed from a desire to explore, capture and promote the natural beauty of the UK. 

​

Aspiring to create memorable images that draw the viewer into a scene, being in the right place at the right time is crucial to capturing shots that evoke emotions and feelings. I aim for my work to elevate a viewer's consciousness out of the familiarity of their everyday surroundings and promote the great outdoors to them.

​

I briefly studied film Photography during my time as a Graphic Design student, but it wasn't until 2011 that I decided to delve into the modern, digital era of the art. With foreknowledge of design and composition and  a love of exploration, becoming a Landscape Photographer is the perfect way for me to express my adventures.

The majority of my photography knowledge stems from reading books, magazines, online articles and forums. But most importantly, above all of those; I have learned from getting out there and using my camera in a range of environments- simple trial and error. I am largely self taught, and continually strive to improve my technical know how, so that it can be utilised to develop and perfect my artistic vision.

​

I’m currently based in Stratford Upon Avon in the Midlands. This provides me with easy access to the nearby Cotswolds, which is where the majority of my work is based. I have wider aspirations to build a great portfolio of work that portays the best scenery and landmarks the UK has to offer.
